Hyosung is upping the ante on its SV650-like sport bike, the GT650R.
Fuel injection, uprated ignition and the usual tweaks bump claimed
horsepower to 82 from 74.
Front brake calipers are now the race-fashion-required 4 piston radial style, there's a higher seat height (now 810 mm) and an ignition
immobilizer/alarm. Claimed dry weight is 208 kg.
MSRP for the GT650R remains unchanged over 2008 at $7,395.00
Oh, and all the Hyosung offerings now use EFI; no more messy carburetors anywhere. As a result of this and the 650 engine tweaks, the GV650 cruiser now claims 80 hp (up from 72).
