National Motorsports, Canadian importers of the Hyosung brand of motorcycles will be bringing E-Moto into Canada.
The E-Moto G-300LX electric scooter looks like a run of the mill scooter but
is powered by a 3 KW brushless DC hub motor with a Lithium Iron
Phosphate battery pack. Max claimed torque is 88.5 ft-lbs at a lowly
(and likely very quiet) 900 rpm, with a whole 3.2 horsepower to boot.
What that should get you is a top speed of 67 km/h with a range of
up to 80 km (though likely the two won't go together and National
Motorsports stress that the claim is also dependent on rider size,
terrain and weather). It should take 2 to 3 hours to recharge and of
course has zero emissions.
Ten inch wheels have disc brakes front and rear and the net weight
(it's net, not wet) is a claimed 114 Kg (that includes the battery).
