This is definitely one of the more funky scooter offerings out there
thanks to a huge 150 litre cargo box integrated into the rear!
Obviously this makes it ideal for pizza deliveries – it even comes with
an optional electrically heated bag for the box, which is operated by a
switch up front.
The box includes a moulded back rest with padding to ensure the rider is kept tres comfortable.
Available with two engine sizes – 49 cc two-stroke motor is
air-cooled and delivers a claimed 4.9 hp, whereas the 151 cc is an
air/oil-cooled four stroke with a claimed available 10.1 horses.
Gus (American) entered the 05 Mad Bastard with one!
The bikes are pretty similar save for 12" wheels on the 50 and 13"
wheels on the 150 (although that seems to be in dispute as some sources
reckon that they both come with 13" wheels ...).
Both bikes use a disk brake up front and a drum at the rear. Claimed
dry weight for the 50 is 105 kilos (231 lbs) and 121 kilos (267 lbs)
for the 150.
MSRP is $2,999.00 for the 50 and $3,699.00 for the 150. Colours are blue, red or yellow.

Laser comes in 50 or 150 format.
The Laser comes with a choice of engine sizes – A 49 cc air-cooled two
stroke or a 151 cc air/oil-cooled four-stroke. Both motors are fed by
carburetors, with the 50 pumping out a claimed 4.9 hp at 7,5000 rpm,
while the 150 tops out at 10 hp at the same rpm.
Chassis are pretty similar, with the 150 getting twin shocks at the
rear (as opposed to a single on the 50) and an inch bigger 13" wheels.
Both bikes get a disk front and drum rear and come with electric and
kick starters.
Claimed dry weight for the 50 is 91 kg (202 lbs), and 122 kg (269 lbs) for the 150.
MSRP is $2,599.00 for the 50 and $3,450.00 for the 150. Colour options are blue, green, red or black.

TGB (Taiwan Golden Bee Co) is coming to Canada courtesy of Canadian
importer E-Ton, after being available in the States for several years.
The R50X is a sporty fifty scooter using an air-cooled (with fan assist) two-stroke motor, fed by a 13mm Mikuni carb. Claimed horsepower is a heady 4.9 (@7,500 rpm) and it comes with electric and kick starting.
Suspension is said to be 'race tuned' (though we're not sure what that quite means) and wheels are 13 inchers with disc brakes front and back.
MSRP is $3,099.00 and it's available in red, black or blue.
