Rumours of Calabogie being the locale for the Parts Canada Superbike 2008 season-opener have been confirmed, with May 22-25 being set. The track, about mid-way between Bancroft and Ottawa, takes an undulating 5.50 km 23-corner path through wild wooded country.

The Canadian loonie buffed up against the U.S. greenback in 2007 and demands for lower prices appeared to threaten the Canadian motorcycle industry, but new bike sales continued to climb last year.

enjoy reading TechKnow Bag, and I'm hoping can provide an answer that
the Kawasaki representatives at the recent motorcycle show were unable
to. If the batteries in the Concours 14 key fob fail, for any reason,
can the bike be started and ridden?

The factory Moto GP Yamaha team of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo — or teams, really, since each rider has his separate group and tire choice — skipped the recent Australian tests in favour of a return to Sepang in Malaysia.
