After completion of the second WSB pre-season test in Australia, Yukio
Kagayama on his Alstare Suzuki claimed the fastest time, just pipping
Troy Bayliss on his Xerox Ducati by a 10th of a second.

2008 was supposed to
have marked the 30th Anniversary of the Dakar Rally. Instead, and for the first time since
its inception in 1978, this year will go down in history as the first
time the Dakar was cancelled.

Visitors to the Montreal Motorcycle
Show won't be able to leave the Convention Centre with armloads of
bargains, but that shouldn't prevent them from making deals for
helmets and other goodies.

arouse a person's sense of adventure the way the Dakar Rally can. Set
against the backdrop of the Sahara desert, it is a stage on which the
human condition is played out for two weeks every year.
