BMW release new models
Written by CMG Staff on Mon, Nov 5th, 2007
BMW's much-lauded F800 will be shown in GS dual-purpose format at the Milan Motorcycle Show later this week.
The new F800GS takes its styling cues from the R1200GS and uses the
parallel twin motor as seen in earlier F800 models, and comes with long
suspension, USD forks, spoked wheels, twin front discs and crash bars.
In order to be better suited for off-road duties, a chain has replaced
the belt drive of the other F800s.

Biplane, Crosscage concepts at Tokyo Show
Written by CMG Staff on Wed, Oct 24th, 2007
Suzuki will unveil two leading-edge concept motorcycles at the Tokyo Motor Show on Oct. 29.
The
Biplane is a V4-powered motorcycle with styling they say is taken from
the ancient winged machines—“no canopy”—and looks something like an
egg with wheels attached. Motor, tank-area, and frontal area are
encased, leaving the rider out in the wind. The bike sports a
perimeter-style front disc and looks more aerodynamic than a bullet
(except for the rider sticking out in the wind, of
course—biplane-like).
