Again from U.S. Kawasaki ... no official word from the Canadian distributor yet ... comes word of a series of immense 1,700 cc cruisers that replace the existing 1,600 cc beasties.

Triumph has officially launched the new Street Triple R, a higher-spec version of the existing Street Triple which in turn is basically a naked version of the Daytona 675.

Yamaha's latest quasi-sportbike, the FZ6R, looks intended for riders who want to make the jump from cruisers to sport, or new riders who like the sporting look but don't want to scare the bejeesus out of themselves (or maybe their parents).

At the Las Vegas Yamaha dealer extravaganza this week, the tuning fork company announced a couple of new versions of its popular V-Star models, both displacing 950 cc instead of the 1,100 cc of their predecessors.

unexpectedly it's available both on the CBR1000RR and CBR600RR.

Harley-Davidson's three-wheeled road bike, the 2009 Tri Glide Ultra Classic, will likely be the most expensive non-CVO Harley offered in Canada.
