The AMA series continued its march into terminal boredom on the weekend, as Yoshimura Suzuki took every podium position in both races of the doubleheader at Virginia International Raceway, with Mat Mladin, Ben Spies, and Tommy Hayden each taking first, second, and third both days.

Old guys howl at Mosport

The Vintage Road Racing Association got lucky with the weather at Mosport last weekend, with perfect temperatures and sunny skies (well, except for Friday afternoon, when the last 10 minutes of the endurance race plus afternoon practice got washed out) contributing to what was certainly one of the biggest events in the club's history.

Canadian Thunder rule changes

There has been a rule change in the Canadian Thunder series. After the first four rounds of the series, the participating OEMs met, as previously agreed, to see how the series was progressing and whether any tweaks needed to be made to ensure competitive racing.

Checa wins 8 Hours

The front brakes of his HRC Dream Racing Honda were throwing sparks for the last hour of the race, but Carlos Checa rode to a win at the Suzuka 8 Hours on Sunday with teammate Ryuichi Kiyonari watching nervously.
