Moto Guzzi has an updated touring model for 2010, the Norge GT, which was shown at the Milan EICMA motorcycle show this week.

A new 1200 cc V-twin will pump out 105 hp using the four-valves-per-cylinder technology of the company's Griso. That's about 17 hp more than the previous two-valve Norge.

Suspension has also been improved with new fork springs and better hydraulics, and bodywork has been redesigned for a sleeker look and better airflow.

The first 850 LeMans had me hooked on Guzzi. I never bought
a Guzzi, always been afraid of the quality. I would like to
see some kind of 80k mile test on one. That might get me to
buy one.

While I find Guzzi's current offerings ugly, I almost bought, and still might, a V11 in that metalic yellow green with red frame. Lovely.
I also scan the net daily looking for an 850 lemans. One day the stars will align; or rather the amount in my bank account and the right bike being available will occur on the same day and I will find myself driving to some far off place to pick up a bike.

I test rode a Norge, the added hp will make it one sweet bike. It was like an FJR with much less power but a lot of engine character; now it will be powered up.

I think Guzzi's have a reputation of being extremely reliable. One guy I ride with has a California with mega miles and little work needed.
