Biggar Classic Bike Rally August 1-3 Biggar, Saskatchewan
This year's rally theme: Italian Motorcycle. The Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group maintains an active chapter in Saskatchewan, and this is one of their best annual events. $80 for registered riders.

Riverside Rally August 1-4 Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia
Thirtieth anniversary rally for the 74th Crusaders. A bike parade, field games, pig roast, children's bonfire, dance and scenic tour. Held in Nova Scotia's beautiful Annapolis River Basin area. Everyone is welcome. $45 adults, $15 kids.

Kootenay Gut Buster August 8 Toad Rock, Balfour, B.C.
No, it's not a trail ride - this is a comedy festival at a motorcycle campground. In the heart of the Kootenays, a 45-minute ferry ride from the DH-rated best road in British Columbia. Register for $10.

A rodeo and roast, going on now for 18 years. Held on private land. Fill your belly, party all night long with the Cow Paddy Boys.

Rocky Road Ride August 16-17 Airdrie, Alberta
A three-to-four-hour scenic mystery ride, unescorted and fully marked. Draw for a Yamaha V Star 1300. $50. Funds raised go to the Distress Centre of Calgary.

August 16 Regina - Moose Jaw, Sask.
The largest organized ride in Canada and the world's biggest single
fund raiser for vision research. The Saskatchewan ride starts at
Thunder City Power in Regina and concludes at the Western Development
Museum in Moose Jaw. |

Cariboo Trails Run August 23 Cariboo country, B.C.
Greater Vancouver Motorcycle Club's 78th annual Cariboo run. Great roads through Interior British Columbia. Paved, but gravel routes available for dual sport riders. 500 to 750 km. All makes, all riders welcome. $50 until Aug. 16, then $70.

2 Day Adventure Trail Ride August 2-3 Fenella-Goderham, Ontario
A challenging two-day off-road event with GPS navigation suited to long legged trail bikes and agile adventure bikes(i.e not good for a KLR or anything larger). Presented by Warren Thaxter and Northumberland Trail Riders. Entry fee: $100.
