Foggy ... coming to TV
Carl Fogarty has thrown his celebrity status into a British TV show that will mimic the Iron Butt rally.
"Iron Butts" is currently under development, but will follow competing riders around the Mediterranean region of Europe for 15 days as they try to cover 7,500 miles through 15 countries.
The competition will apparently be real (no set ups for "better TV") and is open to all comers.
Fogarty, whose four World Superbike championships in the 1990s have made him a superstar, will likely draw viewers. Beyond that, it's hard to say if anything about the show is to be recommended. But, as the bass guitar said to the Stratocaster, stay tuned.
