Glen Richards takes the Brit Supersport championship.
Across the pond, Glen Richards took his MAP Embassy-sponsored Daytona 675 to the British Supersport title. There were no fewer than three of the 675s on the front row of the grid, and the U.K.-based Aussie ran a fourth in the race last weekend to grab the championship title.
Although Triumph is no longer "officially" involved in racing in Canada,
there are still more than a few individuals plugging away with the
machinery; for example, right here in Canada Alex Welsh managed a sixth
overall in the RACE Pro 600 series and a 10th in the Superbike class on
a Daytona 675, which is pretty impressive.
