GT650R gets upgrades
Hyosung is upping the ante on its SV650-like sport bike, the GT650R. Fuel injection, uprated ignition and the usual tweaks bump claimed horsepower to 82 from 74, while the cruiser GV650 model climbs to 80 from 72.
Front brake calipers are now the race-fashion-required radial style, while one source claims a higher seat height and standard ignition immobilizer/alarm, although that appears to be news to the Canadian importer at this time.
Said importer, by the way, tells us that all the Hyosung offerings now use EFI; no more messy carburetors anywhere.
New to Canada is the MS3, a 250 cc scooter that looks as though it’ll nicely bridge the step from the city buzz-bombs to the monster scoots that everyone is getting into these days.
