Here's a complete photo of the groovy-feeling Seventy-Two.

Harley-Davidson has confirmed they’ll be selling the Softail Slim and Sportster Seventy-Two models, and released some specifications.

The Seventy-Two features a set of ten-inch apehangers on a two-inch riser and a good dose of metal flake Hard Candy Big Red paint to get that retro look (Black Denim and Big Blue Pearl are your other colour choices). As predicted, it’s powered by the 1200cc Sportster engine.

It also has a side-mounted plate bracket, chopped rear fender, solo seat, and 2.1-gallon peanut fuel tank, along with lots of chrome. It rolls on a Dunlop white-wall 21-inch tire in front and 16-inch in rear.

The Softail Slim is supposed to have a stripped-down 1950s bobber feel.

The Softail Slim is essentially a stripped-down, blacked-out Fat Boy, with the 1690cc Twin Cam engine mated to a six-speed transmission. It’ll be available in Vivid Black, Black Denim, and Ember Red Sunglo. Tires are 16-inch Dunlop items in front and rear. Front and rear fenders have been chopped for a 50s custom-inspired look, and it also comes with a side-mounted license plate and integrated brake/turn signals.

The Slim comes with a vinyl-covered solo seat, a Hollywood handlebar, and half-moon footboards. The bike will get the classic 5-gallon Fat Bob fuel tank, and there’s an optional security system.
