The latest in the Kawasaki Moto GP soap opera – they're in, they're out, no they're in – comes in a press release from Kawasaki dated February 25 saying they'll enter Moto GP in 2009 after all.

KTM team wins Numb Bum

A team of KTM riders showed their love for the 24-hour Numb Bum ice race at Sandy Beach, Alberta, over the Valentine's Day weekend, by crossing the finish line seven laps ahead of the second place finishers.

Thunder silent

As scooped in CMG last week the Parts Canada Superbike series has now officially confirmed that the popular Canadian Thunder class has been axed, with the remaining factory entrants folded into the existing Superbike and Sport Bike classes.

For months there have been ongoing discussions, arguments, flaps, and fights about how to cut costs in Moto GP, especially since Kawasaki announced it was leaving the sandbox to the other kids in order to save money.

We mentioned last week that Marco Melandri — still waiting to hear if he'll be riding anything in Moto GP this year — was going to try a ride in the Speedcar spec "stock" car series for fun.
