Chaz Davies, winner of the 2008 Daytona 200 for the Attack Kawasaki satellite team, has been out of the news for a while, particularly given that his team has been basically folded into the Kawasaki umbrella (now called the Monster Energy Attack Kawasaki team), with riders Roger Lee Hayden and Jamie Hacking.

The story about Kawasaki pulling out of Moto GP is still in play, as the factory has twice tested the 2009 bikes in spite of its firm statement that it wouldn't be on the grid this year.

American Suzuki has confirmed that they will compete in the AMA Superbike series this year, with six-time champion Mat Mladin riding for Team Rockstar Makita Suzuki and Tommy Hayden running as his teammate.
