National enduro series

Canadian Enduro competitors will have a truly national series for the first time in many years for the 2009 season, as World Enduro Canada (WEC) is sanctioning a cross-Canada challenge using the same format used in ISDE and world championship competition – basically separately-scored two-day events with electronic timing on special test sections.

Spaniard wins South American Dakar

The first Dakar Rally held in South America is over, and Spaniard Marc Coma on his factory KTM comfortably held on for the win by nearly an hour and a half, relaxing a bit to take sixth in the final stage coming back to the starting point of Buenos Aires.

With only two days left in the first South American edition of the Dakar, Spaniard Marc Coma on his factory KTM is still in control of the two-wheel contingent, maintaining nearly an hour-and-a-half lead over his team-mate Cyril Depres of France.
