The worst-kept secret in the Moto GP paddock finally outted itself at Indianapolis, as first Repsol and then Ducati Corse issued press releases confirming that Nicky Hayden is leaving his long-term riding association and love affair with Honda and will be on the Ducati Moto GP team in 2009.

The AMA series continued its march into terminal boredom on the weekend, as Yoshimura Suzuki took every podium position in both races of the doubleheader at Virginia International Raceway, with Mat Mladin, Ben Spies, and Tommy Hayden each taking first, second, and third both days.

Old guys howl at Mosport

The Vintage Road Racing Association got lucky with the weather at Mosport last weekend, with perfect temperatures and sunny skies (well, except for Friday afternoon, when the last 10 minutes of the endurance race plus afternoon practice got washed out) contributing to what was certainly one of the biggest events in the club's history.
