Just to prove that Valentino Rossi may not be God after
all, the FIM has announced that the air disruptions caused by the
huge volcanic eruptions in Iceland have forced the postponement of
the Japanese Moto GP scheduled for this weekend.

In the past few seasons it’s become routine
to note that World Superbike
racing provides 10x the entertainment of Moto GP, but the 2010 season might be
different if the season-opener under the lights at the Losail Circuit in Qatar in the
Mid-East is a precursor of things to come.

Considering that Ducati and Honda were the pre-season favourites for the WSB title, with Yamaha just behind, having Leon Haslam's Suzuki comfortably on top of the standings after two race weekends is a bit of a surprise.
