An American conference for women and motorcycling will include special Canadian features on Aug. 21 at Keystone, Colorado.

Canadian author and former politician Deb Grey will speak to the audience at the International Street Party of the fifth annual International Women and Motorcycling Conference produced by the American Motorcyclist Association.

The Motorcyclists’ Confederation of Canada has teamed up with the AMA to produce the Friday night event. The Women Riders Council of the MCC is organizing the Street Party.

Grey is the author of "Never Retreat, Never Explain, Never Apologize: My Life, My Politics," and was an MP for the Reform Party, the Canadian Alliance, and the Conservative Party. She was the first female leader of the Opposition in Canada.

Grey is also a motorcyclist.

Canadians at the AMA event will also receive at-par pricing and other benefits. The Women and Motorcycling Conference is sponsored by Harley-Davidson and Buell.
