KTM builds electric, but forgets to turn the lights on.

At the Tokyo Motorcycle Show a week from now, KTM will unveil two prototype electric motorcycles.

The two bikes are "near-series prototypes which in one year's time will transfer the "Ready to Race" sporting spirit of the brand into a series model fit for the 21st century," according to the Austrian firm's PR machine.

Detailed information has not been released, but teaser photos suggest that both motorcycles, a supermoto and an enduro model, are close to being ready for sales.

I'm thinking they might just be quiet enough I don't have to truck it out of the city :)

First electric really looking like a motorcycle. Everything else I've seen so far has looked like bicycles without padles.

Should be interesting watching the MSRP and reach on one charge.
