BMW R1200R recalled

Models Involved: 2007-2008 K1200GT, 2007-2009 R1200GS, R1200GS Adventure, R1200R, R1200RT, and R1200ST

Number of Vehicles: 1,537

Problem: On certain motorcycles, due to its current routing the front brake lines might be under strain. The vibrations that occur when the motorcycle is being ridden could cause the brake lines to develop leaks, allowing brake fluid to escape and cause the level of fluid in the reservoir of the front brake system to drop.
Brake fluid leakage could ultimately result in loss of front braking capability which could result in a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death.

Correction: Dealers will replace the front brake lines.
