Rossi Shocker! PDF Print E-mail
Written by CMG Staff on Friday, 02 July 2010

rossi-cover.jpgValentino Rossi will leave Yamaha at the end of the 2010 season. He won't be moving to automobile racing, as some have speculated, but will join the Ducati Corsa MotoGP team.

Motorcycle News UK and other European press are reporting that a MotoGP insider has confirmed that Rossi and Yamaha have failed to resolve a contract dispute; as well, Rossi refuses to continue teaming with Jorge Lorenzo.

According to MCN, a "senior MotoGP figure" said, "I know for sure that Rossi will go to Ducati next season. The deal has been done."

Details of the Ducati signing are said to be revealed at this weekend's MotoGP round at Catalunya.

Is a "senior MotoGP figure" the same thing as a "reliable source"?
Maybe Yamaha thinks his broken leg will hamper there image. Good luck with the Ducati move Rossi, as they say in the Theatre "Break a leg"! Oh yeh, already done that.
