Genevieve Lesieur receives the CMG racing babe of the year award (complete with staff phone numbers).

The popular track day rental and riding instructional group Turn 2 Sportbike rentals has announced its 2008 plans, including dates at Calabogie, Mosport, and Shannonville.

The group will continue to use Suzuki GSX-R600s and is expanding the educational side of its offering with an Advanced Rider Course Level 2, more school days and also with female instructors – it claims to be the first track school in Canada with teachers from the distaff side.

Turn 2 owner George Budacki says, “Level 2 will teach riders how to feel the bike underneath them, interpret feedback, and adjust suspension and geometry accordingly.” Teaching aids include on-board video and GPS acquisition equipment for lap timing.

The new instructors won’t hurt either: Genevieve Lesieur, Karen Grujic,  and Natalie Catherine Provost are all established stars in both Women’s Cup and Amateur 600 racing. They’re all hot riders – in every sense of the word.
